CubeLogic hires Zarin Imam to run global Regulatory and Compliance business

Houston, March 8th 2017. CubeLogic, a leader in Business Intelligence products and services for risk management in the energy, commodity, and financial markets, today announces the appointment of Zarin Imam as Director of Regulatory and Compliance. Zarin will be instrumental in delivering and supporting the roll-out of CubeLogic’s comprehensive Regulatory Cube that covers an array of global regulations including EMIR, REMIT, MiFID II, FinfraG, MAS, Dodd-Frank, and StromVV and includes Reporting, Record-Keeping, Threshold, and Reconciliation capabilities.

With over 20 years of experience in the energy industry, Zarin possesses a rare combination of strong business, regulatory and compliance and IT systems acumen for solving the ongoing challenges faced by energy companies. She is a certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) and has a deep knowledge of regulations in both the U.S. and Europe. She is a former Chief Compliance & Regulatory Officer (CCRO) at Iberdrola Energy Holdings where she was responsible for corporate and regulatory compliance, EHS, and global system implementation projects. Prior to her role as CCRO, Zarin held executive positions at Iberdrola, American Electric Power (AEP), and Enron and is a well-known and highly regarded public speaker on topics related to regulations, compliance, risk, and trading in the energy industry. Zarin’s experience provides her with a unique perspective on the needs of CubeLogic’s users and a breadth of knowledge of the business problems their clients face.
